Default I need a header for my ZC, New OBX or used DC, 4-1 or 4-2-1 HELP

I want to get a header for my ZC before I put it in, I decided that instead of going new and getting a cheap header like OBX or Chikara that I'll go with a used DC header. I can't decide I've read a lot of stuff on the forums of people who love and hate 4-1s. Obviously a lot of people go with the 4-2-1 but the 4-1 is 75 cheaper and local pickup. All choices would be the SS model I can't find any used ceramics. All prices are the final price to get it to me. Please help

How bad are 4-1s at low end? It should still be better than stock at all power levels though, right?

I've seen some dyno's on the DC 4-2-1's vs. DC 4-1's (on a d16y8 motor)

Both headers were the 1 piece style. Both headers put out the same amount of HP at the very highest RPM's, but the 4-2-1 put out more on the low end.

I think if you were running a higher output motor than a Y8, (say b16a, or b18c3,5) the 4-1 style would put out more umph at the higher rpms than the 4-2-1.

So, since you're using a ZC, I'd definetly go for the 4-2-1, even though it is the 2 piece. I really doubt it being a 2 peice is gonna make much of a difference at all, vs. the 1 piece 4-2-1 style.

Unless you don't wanna spend the extra cash, then get the 4-1. But I promise you, for the ZC the 4-2-1 will give you the best power gains throughout the entire rpm band!
