Default Changing the tire height

Can I put a 225/40/17 on the front of my 05 s2k? It would be wider and lower on the rim. I know some of you are running a 225/45/17 on the front, but what about a 225/40/17? Its lowering the tire height. Is it ok?

I believe it is ok. As long as you don't change the front and rear bias by more than 30%. Otherwise you'll have braking issues, from what i read.

So if your running 255/40/17 in the rear, you can run 225/40/17 in the front.
