Default 3 CV Axles broken in a few weeks. Why?

On my 91 Integ. I have replaced My driver side axle 2 times and it recently just broke again after just a few days. Could I be installing it wrong. Something else causing it to break or do i just have the worst luck and getting bad axles. They are Remans from Kreagan.

This is the first time it broke and it looks similar to this now.

I believe your problem is Kreagan. Autozone, Napa, Advance auto parts all of there axles are Crappy. I have tried multiple Autozone axles and they all made my car vibrate horrible and one broke within a week. Finally went with an OEM axle off of ebay for like 20 bucks (it was a Steal) and its been holding up for months now. Raxles is online company you should consider because there axles are just as good as the OEM. Good Luck

My current NAPA reman axles have been on my car for several years now. I did go through a spell of changing axles 4 times within a few months back in 2004, but then I finally got a set that seems to be holding up.

I also just put brand new GS-P axles from Advance Auto on our Corolla and the quality of those seems pretty good. We'll see how those hold up.

Alright thanks. I figured it just had to be the axles. Hella cheap. Prolly why they have lifetime warranties.

Check your motor mounts. If they are bad they will wear out a axle.

that's the problems, buy oem axles or go to the junkyard and find some that don't have the boot busted.

I went back to keagan and i asked for a brand new axle and had to pay 16 dollars. This axle was about and inch or more longer i fit perfect. It slid right in. I think they were just giving me the wrong axle or something. Most of those guys dont know what they are doing honestly.
