Ok guys now this is the second time straight Ive run into the same problem with an OBD2 car swapped with an OBD1 engine. I have an 97 Accord ex with Vtec the bells and whistles etc,,, Now the guy picked up an engine exact same engine except its an obd1 F22 Vtec we did the sensor on the head swap plugged everything up except for the distributor has two plugs and the car has or had the crank postion sensor on the crank....

Ok that is the same thing I did on the civic I swapped last year... that doesnt work. The trick on this accord would prob result in the same thing. But is there ANYONE on here who has succesfulley deppined or wired the Cyp out put and get positive results?

Today I pulled the sensors from the crank area on the OBD2 engine with harness? now isther a away to wire up the haress to the jdm dizzy and get this thing going? Or is the ODB2 to OBD1 the better route?
