Hi everyone,

According to researches I made, when power door locks don't work but the fuse are still fine, 99% of the time its bad actuators.. except in my case when i have key in ignition and power on, switches still lock and unlock..So if the actuators are bad power locks won't work no matter what right??

Also my aftermarket alarm don't go off anymore when i open the door.

PLEASE PLEASE..I'd appreciate any help

 

Hmm.. fuses are good, power locks work with the switch but not with the remote (?) and the alarm isn't working right anymore?

I'm guessing the alarm is the problem.

 

yeah a friend of mine thinks its alarm too..one other weird thing also is with the power on, the locks work only when the door is all the way shut..anyways its time to shop for another alarm..any recommendation??my budget probly is under 4 bill

 

MY car does the same thing as well time to time. I just ignore and it after a few more starts and driving around it fixes itself.

 

The car does that so u dont lock your keys in the car. Seriously.

the power locks work when the doors are shut.

With the driver door open, hit the power lock switch on the door. It wont lock.

Now, hit the switch again, but this time pull the handle and watch what happens.

The handle will trip the lock and the door will lock.
