99 civic wont crank, and fuel pump doesnt engage

Icon3 99 civic wont crank, and fuel pump doesnt engage

ok so im working on my buddies 99 civic ex. i put a jdm b16 in it but before i recieved it to do the work the head on the original y8 was off cause some retarded garage mech. anyways i turned the ignition to on to see if the fuel pump worked and nothing. so i do the swap and still the same thing wont even crank, replaced the main relay same thing ckecked and sanded allgrounds to metal checked thermostat ground everything is good. it had an alarm that i disconnected and reconnected all essentials. i need help thanx

Check the fuel main relay, it should be near the glove box.

This probably won't help but I joined this site because I have the same issue with my "93 EX. Windshield cracked last year, insurance company sends bozo glass replacement company, rainy season continues and now ECU is getting wet. When I finally took it to Honda, it started right up because it had dried out.

hey well sorry to hear about your car that sux but i figured mine out, it was the ground from the subframe to the tranny, lol i feel like such a boot lol anyways lessons learned, try not to work on **** other guys have ripped apart if possible and check all grounds, if in doubt ground out and check that **** 4 times thanks everyone for the input
