So . . . For awhile I've been wanting another Integra and just havent been into the hatch the same way I was with my old 99 GSR , before it got stolen 2 years ago. I missed my Black on Black GSR a lot , and was on the hunt for another Teg. The hatch was fun , but just not what I wanted and just wasnt into the build the same as I was with my GSR , i wasnt consistent with what I wanted always changing this and that and then get fustrated and want to get rid of it and not drive it for weeks on end . Sooo I had put the shell up for trade and it just so happend to find someone who was willing to trade shells with me. And it just happend to be an atual 95 4 Door GSR DB8 that needed a new rad core support welded on . Other than that car was in pretty good shape with complete interior ! Part of the deal we had arranged was that he would be giving me another front end ( core support ) 98+ front bumper and headlights. So we struck up a deal and i traded my 92 EG CX hatch for the 4 Door GSR .

Soooo the work begins to get it ready to take to the body shop !





and while I was saving money up for the body shop , i decided that the interior needed some major TLC ! So i stripped EVERYTHING out of it , besides the dash but everything else came out to get a thorough cleaning with bottles and bottles of Simple Green !

1st thing is 1st the carpet ! How nasty !



the rest of the inside was pretty nasty as well !





After I worked my magic , the inside is clean ! Carpet looks AWESOME compared to what it looked like before. I will be dying the carpet black to cover up everything else.







Next I focused on the engine bay , its was pretty damn nasty in their ! Power Steering bottle broke and fluid and grime went everywhere !

Sooo , I dropped the car off at the body shop Tuesday and had a meeting with him today ! Deff not what I wanted to hear thats for sure ! Sooo the damage to car at 1st me and Eric thought was just a core support ! No big deal and was thinking that MAX total it would cost me with replacing the rad support, frame work, painting it and the engine bay - $600 Thats what I was planning on spending ! Buuuut I found out that thats not the case ! Soooo total damage ( to my wallet ) is $2000 ! Their was apparently A LOT more damage than what me and Eric thought ! Driver side frame rail is bent ! Soooo the front clip that Eric gave me along with the car in trade for my hatch is completely being used now ! So some major reconstruction is being done and I hope to have the car back next weekend. So after mostly using almost half my tax return on parts that were needed , the rest of it is GONE ! But the bay IS getting painted !

Well now you pretty much know what the rest of the car is going to be painted ! Night Hawk Black Pearl ( NHBP ) . That will be coming in the summer as my funds ran pretty low with all the body work that was needed.

I have alot of parts on order and are on their way I hope ! Koni Yellow SP3's with Neuspeed Race springs. I want a bit more of a softer ride with this car and not the stiff suspension i used to have on my old teg and old hatch. I'll be having a wire tuck done , fuel line tuck and a few other things done while the motor is out. With the motor being out im taking care of all my maintence things and adding a few more performance parts to the list !

I'll also be laying down some sound deadener before I put the interior back in so that I'll have a nice quiet car. Thats one thing I hated about my hatch and having a gutted interior ! You HEAR EVERYTHING ! You cant even hear yourself think much less listen to the radio ! So my ipod served as a very useful dd tool ! lol .

Yesterday I put my new wheels on and damn they look even better ! I cant wait to get my suspension installed and motor in to see how they will really look ! I also installed K-Sport rear LCA's , Carbing rear lower tie bar, beaks subframe kit and m-factory swaybar !
