Need Advise on Injector size ls-vtec??

Default Need Advise on Injector size ls-vtec??

ok so i have a major set up and i need to know what size injectors to use i have 310cc injectors but idk if that will be enouph to make my 210whp goal here is my set up so far

LS VTEC
b18b1 block bored to 81.5 with balanced crank arp everything mains,rod bolts head studs ect.
81.5 Pr3 pistons
golden eagle block gaurd
gsr mains water pump and oil pump
acl race bearings
light weight pulley and flywheel 12 lbs
Gsr tranny
Brian crower retainers and springs
xvt/rev flat faced valves .5mm overbore
port and polished head
buddy club spec 4 cams
blox racing cam gears
310cc injectors
walbro 255lph fuel pump
edelbrock inline fuel filter
aem fuel rail and pressure regulator
skunk2 intake manifold
hondata heat sheild im gasket
tri-y header
straight 2.5 exhaust with megan n1 muffler
omni power 70mm throttle body with omni power tps sensor and 2.5 bar map
dc direct air charger intake connected directly to a js raicing air duct (EG)

there may be more but I dont recall right now but this is just general this build has takin me well over 2 years of more than half my paychecks and i honestly expect no less than 205 whp and i think the inectors are the only ones holding me back right now but idk leme know

my cousin used RC 440cc for is 12.5cr lsv and i used DSM 450cc for my 11.5cr lsv with all the internals works and it run pretty good. just haven't tune it yet cause motor hasn't been broken in yet.

i have a friend who's running rc 350cc injectors on a similar set up and putting around 250hp no tune

I would go with something like RC 550's. I'm assuming you are planning to tune it correct? The tuner can tune those bigger injectors down if you don't need that much fuel. so It's always better to go a bit bigger so you don't start tuning and the tuner has your injectors maxxed out at 80+% on the duty cycle. I'd go RC550's Saturated. good luck!

yea i was planning on tuning it after break in period i was thinkin 400cc injectors or 440cc 500cc maybe but that may be a lil to big the numbers i want are about 210fwhp rele nothing less

im gonna be using stock injectors for break in so yea these inectors i talk of are for tune and after i rele know nothing about tuning but can u down tune a 550cc to like 310cc if u wanted (just an example not what i want)

Yes, you can de-tune them, by lowering the duty cycle. And actually if you are running an injector at or close to it's max duty cycle it can actually be bad for the injector. Because the longer it's held on (open, letting fuel spray out) the hotter it gets.
