The other morning i went to go start my car and it started and then when i let go of the key it just turned off. Then i tryed it again and again and same thing happened. But then when i hold the key it stays started and it shuts off when i let go.
Yesterday night i had to drive 10 miles home shifting and holding a key it was a pain in the ***.
But what do you think it could be?

 

Broken key switch. Its the white cap behind the key cylinder. Hopefully your key cylinder is okay. Start with the switch first.

 

I tryed the white switch thing. I used a needlenose pilers and when i pulled it out the car shut off

 

The same thing is happening when i go to start my car. When i let go of the key my car shuts off and it happens everytime. Then the other day it just started working again and idk why. Then a few minutes ago i was driving and my gauges started freaking out and then my car just shut off. I dont know what is going on i really need help.

I just got this car built and i bought it from a friend. I'm really thinking bout selling it if i cant get it fixed
