you high hp drag guys , what gear ratios ...?.
not a honda but ......
i have just orderet the spec made DOG gear box from www.dogbox.hu , and have totally free choice of ratios , what would be the best ratio in all 4 gear and i final .....
running with 26-10-15 MT drag , 700kg full loadet car with driver , and a power band within 5-9500rpm ....
what do you hotrod guys running in ratios , just for guidelines !!!?????
have about 700hp at 9500 rpm ...

looking at these two:
2.92, 1.88, 1.35, 1.00, and 4.72 final drive. = example 1
2.82, 1.77, 1.25, 0.91 and 4.85 final drive. = example 2
i think both is pretty good , are runnig the 690hp now , and when every thing else are working smoth , ill turn it up to 850/900hp
i think , ex 1 would be good too my current hp , and later on i could shift the 4th gear to a little lower ratio , perhaps 0.95 , when i turn up the volume !!!! or should i go with the ex 2 at start .....??????
