Default need help on everyday driver

i have a 97 accord 4cly auto. for some reason the car just keeps turning off in the middle of the freeway has anyone ever ran to this problem any info thanks

I would out my money on the main relay. Does it start up? Check your ignition switch and distributor coil as well. You're gonna need a digital multimeter, which you can buy from any parts store for like $15. Buy a chiltons too so you know how much resistance/volts these things should be putting out.

That post was kind of vague though, does it start up after it dies? does the car run good besides that? its it warm when it does it? is it warm outside when it does it?

thanks for the info. it does start up doesnt die. it runs good until u get on it over 50 u run it for awhile then all it dies for a couple seconds then comes back up not that cold. but if u have any more info please let me know
