so i was messing with my kpro, and all of a sudden my dash just started smoking out bad, i **** a brick i ripped off the center console and apparently the wires that the previous owner put to these lights that were under the dash were poorly wired i never turned them on but my daughter turned them on and immedietly set the car on fire, i thought it was the kpro i was bout to cry but i ripped these lights out and cut the wires out and electrically isolated them

 

Is everything good though? You didn't burn out any factory wires did you?

I hate it when people mess with wiring, it is always such a pain to get back to stock. Good luck man!

 

Wow, thats sketchy. Makes me glad i bought my car bone stock. make sure none of the fuses or relays got popped from the short.

Too bad you guys couldn't see how bad my car was when i just bought it, the previous owner (who is and will always be an idiot) wired the alarm AND the fog lights in the most stupidest way.... I cant even begin to say how terrible he did it... Lets just say, a very small wire was carrying ALOT of current ... lol... many people mickey mouse too much.... tapping this, tapping that, and not doing it right. Nonetheless, hope no damage was done. Its a BIG pain to trace wires and fixing it.
