Front tire size question for 05 s2000
Stock for the front is 215/45/17.... I know that a 225/45/17 will fit and that a lot of people have this set up, but here is 2 questions: 1. Can I run a 225/40/17 on a stock ap2 rim? Question 2. Why does the s2000 have the stagger set up? Now mind you, this is for the front.
I wouldnt advise messing with tire heights, they are that way for a reason. As for staggered sizes, are you referring the the different widths?
Yeah, and the height...Why didnt they just make them the same sizes? Whats the reason for the different sizes? Are other rwd cars like that too?
I think I'll stay at 245/40/17 for the rears, and go 225/45/17 for the fronts. It will be a little wider in the front, but I can't find A 215 on the Michelin Tires I have on the back. People with 225 in front... Any noticeable diff in grip or anything?
should work just fine
