Battery cluster light- related to no start
Ive been posting this on multiple forums looking for an answer and this is my next try. I really need to get this fixed.

I'm gonna copy and paste your question right here to make this easier.
what happens when it doesn't start? does it turn over, is the battery dead? can you hear the fuel pump prime?
since you say your fuel pump doesn't always come on my first guess woud be a bad main relay, since they can be intermittent when they start going bad.

I recently bought a '88 CRX that orignally had the 1.6L motor in it that was replaced with a 1.5L JDM D15B (non vtec). When I bought it i drove it 2hours home and the following day doing various errands it ran fine. After I did a tune up and oil change it wouldnt start. I tried and tried again to start it and replaced the fuel pump thinkin that was the problem only to find out the following day what the culprit was. The battery light in the dash isnt lighting up. I had it light up for 30secs and when I tried to start it a bit later the light was gone. When the lights on the fuel pump works and whens its off it doesnt. Has anyone had this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated and I need to get back to work.-Thanks in advance
