Hello, I'll be picking up a set of rear disc tomorrow for my EK and the disc ebrake cables are included but not attached. The seller says I need a screw or something to get it working.

Does anyone have a close up pic of how the e-brake cable attaches to the rear disc caliper? I want to make sure the cable is the correct one.

I looked on Majestic Honda for the parts diagram and it wasn't very detailed.

i believe its just a pin... Jw, what are you paying for the setup? i have a disk brake complete swap i need to sell. not sure what its worth..

Just checked on my car, it is a pin and then a clip to hold the pin in (or a carter pin). My cell phone is dead or i will take a pic of the pin your needing.

 

if you look at the diagram below,
(referenced from 99-00 civic Si)
you'll need:
#16 oem honda part no. 4371-sd2-930 pin, brake wire end (X2) $1.81 ea
#20 oem honda part no. 90705-sd2-931 pin, snap (6MM) $1.61



the pin/ anchor attaches to the e-brake lever

Sweet! I saw that pic but it was smaller on the Majestic Honda page and I couldn't make out the end of the cable.

So now I know I should have a cable like this when I pick up the brakes tomorrow.
