Default Drag Strip Results...Now With Video!!!

Update:
Got some video to share:

update - my buddy uploaded a new vid -slightly off topic, but cool anyways:
http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MxeTU0MQ%3D%3D

Run 1 - R vs Civic SI
http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MxeTU0MQ%3D%3D

Run 2 - R vs Prelude
http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MxeTU0MQ%3D%3D

more to come...

well,
Took my baby (01 ITR - 41K miles or so...) to the dragstrip on friday night, and I was pleased w/ my results:
(this was my first time drag racing - ever!)

Run on the left was the best one - 14.9 - raced a late model Prelude
Run on the right was my first shot at it, not bad (raced a civic si w/ bolt ons and R cams - plus a slipping clutch)

Mods -
No Power steering
No "junk in the trunk"
Advanced Timing
98 octane gas (prolly didn't even need it...)

otherwise bone stock. And I know - I need to work on reaction time...
Nick (who wants to hit 13's someday

Get your 60 ft time down and you could be in the mid 14's

Got 2.20's on the stock tires.

You've got plenty of room to drop two or three tenths ...... nice work!

nice keep workin on it, you could probably work off a tenth or two. 60fts are key, and try not to spin the tires.

You need to launch at higher rpm, I think.

I got a 2.15 60' on 400 treadwear 910's.

You are running a stickier tire at a lower pressure, you could definitely drop the 60'... I think people are afraid to launch their car at high rpm.

Chris, who thinks you should slip it from 7k. Your clutch will hate you, but you will love your timeslip.

I know for a fact you can pull a 2.12 on SO-3's. Do that and your deep in the 14's.
