I just wanted to know whats the big deal about them? When i was in cali every ricer had one every half *** build had three or more.And now in NM every lil honda kid has one on some fool in his 94 teg has one on his headlight i mean where did this fad come from? And am i the only one that thinks they are tacky and ricer?

 

Nope your right. Its definately looks dumb. Its right up there with the old driver and new driver japanese tags. They drive me insane. In Japan they are stickers you have to have to say HEY!!!! I CANT DRIVE FOR CRAP WATCH OUT FOR ME!!!! or IM F**KING OLD AND CANT DRIVE!!!! Its a warning to other drivers. But here they are a fashion statement and "JDM".

I thought it was funny when they appeared in like '01 or '02. Now the trend has trickled down to the beat to hell imports you find in low income housing. I still get a laugh when I see someone with a shocker sticker in their windshield and sitting behind it is their girlfriend in the passenger seat.

It was funny for a while but now its just beating a dead horse its old and not funny and its everywhere.

The funny thing is people seem to think its "JDM". Its not it never has been. Ive been in Japan and i can tell you i never saw one shocker sticker on any car . Something like that is very disrespectful there and dishonor and disrespect in Japan are a very big deal.

 

Some things will never change. Its been over a decade since the Honda scene blew up and people still seem to think that stickers are a upgrade. Its almost like we are moving backward in time. At least back in the day they put stickers for parts they were rocking now its just random crap.

I dont even understand people, you go to a import show and see the best that the import community has to offer and then you go home and instead of using it for guidence you do a 180. I will never understand.............

I've had it on my car for a while now, and I like the laughing faces behind me sometimes in traffic. But as for me, I do not drive like a typical teenage ricer.
IMO a sticker doesn't = driving habits/personality. Just a thought.

cheap plastic lips and stick washers in there hood to be "jdm"
