Auto to manual conversion
I might buy a 93 dx hatch. It has a d15b7 auto trans. I'm looking to do a manual swap. But later down the road im looking to do a B swap. The guy has the pedal assembly, shifter, linkage. Is it hard to do that swap? Later down the road im doing a B swap. I know im going to need a different shifter linkage cable. What im looking for is some info on if its really hard. Or even better, a DIY link, i searched google and couldnt find anything.
Its not hard if you have the time and some mechanical skill. I did it over 2 weekends, had to wait on parts.
Here's a tip I always use since honda-tech's search function sucks ***** nowadays. type what your looking for in google then right after that type site:honda-tech.com

np. The hardest part was installing the manual pedalset. such a pita to get it in there without removing/dropping the steering column. Everything else should be a breeze.
IMO the hardest part was DCing the shifter assembly from the bottom of the car,
the bolts will be rusted and 99% of the time they will round out, i had to get vice grips on em but the exhaust pipe was in the pipe, and i didnt want to spend more time removing it.
but one thing i thought about, if your swapping to a B and you have the auto bracket on the trans side,
that might need to be cut off and a true manual bracket must be welded there,
so if your going B soon dont get the conversion mount, get the manual tranny mount and bracket to the chassis.
