That car is over 2 years old. Very old news. Hasport makes a j series mount kit but even with the oil pan resting on the ground, the hood is not going to clear the motor..ever.

This entire thread earns a slow clap.

Post your friends car then to educate.
He is correct it is been out for 2+ years and the oil pan is quite low.

Would this even be driveable on the streets? If the oil pan sits that low, youd be takin out road reflectors all day... Not to mention, the Cut out hood I cant stand... Looks like a hell of a lot of work to fit it too... Its like trying to cram a v8 into a mini. Lol...

Please post pics cause on an eg there is only 3.5 inches of ground clearance with a j swap that allows the hood to pop. And thats with the car lowered alittle bit. And the ef has a smaller engine bay by alot hight wise. So I want to see this ef with a j swap that the hood closes and the oil pan still intact lol. So post some damn pictures and prove us wrong.

Nope I'm right. You don't have friends. Even if you did none would have j32 ef's. Even if that happened, the hood unless it had a 6" cowl would not close.

Now go away.
