Not trying to rain on your parade here but why did they start the dyno pull at 4500 rpm?
How can they tune the fuel below 4500 at WOT if they never see what the a/f's are at that rmp?

Also horsepower is a measurement of total work done, so if you started the dyno run at 2000 or 2500 where the motor wasn't pulling as hard, would the hp still be as high? I'm asking. I've just never seen a dyno pull start at 4500. I'm guessing that's right where he sat vtec also

Churches does a great job. Mine was done there and my car is much more fun to drive with alot more useable torque and power. An added benefit is that the DBW lag is nearly gone!

So what exactly did they do to eliminate the DBW lag?....They say nothing on the website about the ability to modify the DBW and when I called Hondata they said you couldn't change the DBW system.

I can't exactly say what Sean did at Churches to get rid of the DBW lag, but he did. It's
almost completely gone. I'm hopefully going to talk to them about some other things and will find out the answer. My car drives completely different since I had it dynoed with the Flash Pro and in a good way.

more than likely they switched from maf to map.
theres no throttle lag on map but there is on maf.

imma def try and make it down there considering friday rush hr traffic and im in brea so it take me almost 15minutes just to get to the freeway str8 bs lol, should be putting down some good numbers tho with those mods and flashpro. I need to get mines tuned bad its like one week car is runnin and pulling on gti and sti's. Sti's until late 5th then soon as my oil life drops due to the wrong damn pan etc it runnin horrible but its all bout to change cause monday my car get a new si pan to go with the rrc oil pump then imma start working on my build thread so everyone can see the process and my headaches that come with swapping the k24 block and building it and finding out new things everyday

That shouldn't have anything to do with DBW. My car is map tuned and I didn't feel a difference, I think it's all in peoples' heads. Hondata says flashpro doesn't have the capability to alter DBW.

Not to be a not it all, but your wrong. I do know how to drive and the DBW is almost completely gone. The difference is night and day. I'll check with Sean at Churches and see what it is that they actually did. The DBW without Flash Pro was bad and it's now gone!

^That's cool. I'm not trying to be a jerk but when you find out what they did I hope you would let me know becuase I'd like to do the same to mine.

But I called Hondata and they said you cannot alter the DBW system. So I just don't know how you can counter that.

I actually called hondata out on it and they got all shitty with me on the phone. When Flashpro was first introduced their website said control over DBW. It was on their FAQ's. Then they changed their website and I called them and asked where the part went that said you could change DBW. He said that you never were able to modify DBW. I pulled up the saved webpage and said well I'm looking right at it dude. He got shitty and said what else do you have a question about?

I asked him why Hondata's attitude is always so shitty after paying $1250 for my original AJP reflash and then flashpro. He said anything else? I said nope that's all.

But you can turn off the 1st gear throttle plate dampener. I think that is what was causing people to think there was lag in the DBW. They did that from the factory to make throttle inputs while in 1st gear smoother. They put a delay on how quickly the throttle plate opens when you hit the gas. When you deactivate this you should notice better response in 1st.

you totally missed the point. seems how you've never driven a non-turbo si on a map calibration, you have no say in my previous statement. i have switched between the maf and map calibration for the same mods i have, and the rev hang on map is non existent compared to the maf calibration. if you think i'm bs-ing, ill make a video to prove my point before i have to go to church's today.
