i have function form coilovers i put extended top hats on. i wanna kno wat the differenc e between that and me purchasing pic coilovers with extended top hats. i want a better ride than wat i have. cause rite now im ridin like i had no springs at all. one difference i noticed was the amount of rounds the springs had....can anyone jus give me a lead. i'll figure the rest out.

 

Any difference in ride quality is not going to be because you have / don't have extended upper mounts.

The PIC's pictured do not have extended upper mounts on them, btw.

 

Did your function need the extended top hats? What did it ride like with the stock top hats on it?

 

they ran great. but my ride wasnt low enough. i wanted to go lower. so i put them on, n kinda messed up my ride. now im tryin to fix it.

 

Those top hats most likely weren't built for the FF shocks, I know your not gonna be able to "slam" your car anymore but I would change it back to the originals.
