THE ECU GODS ARE HATEING ON ME!
ok so i have this really messed up problem but its a huge pain! so i wanted to see if anyone has had this problem or knows how to fix it.
PROBLEM #1
first off its a P28 with s200, got it tuned at DTP (madison wi) last spring. not all the time but sometimes when i go to prime my fuel pump it will kick in and prime but the CEL will stay on and the car wont start, but if i tap on the ecu the light goes off and it will run fine.
but it really sucks when i am just cruising down the street and the cel decides to come on and the car will die. seems like the injectors are loosing power or idk what happens. i have took the cover off the ecu and everything looks ok but i dont really know what to look for.
PROBEM#2
goes along wit problem #1 but the last 2 days the cel wont turn on but it will still die and i can hear a clicking sound from like under where he fuse box is like relay has a bad connection, but idk where, and i wll have to pull over on the side of the road where ever the ECU gods decide to hate on me and mess with the ecu and stuff till i can get it to start. and i have no idea what could be causing this! so if you have any suggestions just let me know thanks!

Clicking under dash near fuses... Main Relay?
Well where you should really start is pulling the code, and see what the ecu is telling you the problem is.

i tried to get the code by the jumper harness cuzi dont have anywhere to getit checked in town and i dont trust driving it out of town
mine was a pin on my zif. I am not to up on hondata s100, s200, s300. but i will tell u it will not hart to desouter and resouter your chipping in your ecu. that is where i had my prolbom. if u wont to know what u are looking for google cold joint. and look at for cracking around the pin or the pcb bord sorry for the typo i can not spell

i took my ecu out, tore it apart, looked at the chip on theback of the board it looked a lil messy so i tried to clean it up, one pin on the bottom side of the chip looked funny so i messed with it, put it back in my car and it actually had no CEL after priming fp. and it ran fine. but the true test will be in the morning when i try to go to work lol
This has the symptoms of a bad main capacitor in the ecu.
It will cause the ecu to reset or not get power at all, the fuel pump will not prime and it will throw a check engine light.
I would HIGHLY suggest getting someone to check that asap, if you let it go too long you will end up with a nice hole in the ecu where your capacitor use to be.

It is located at C14 on the board. It is right behind the "B" plug of the ecu.
The capacitor is the biggest one on the board and it is brown in color.
