sup guys i gotta set of skunk2 pro series coilovers on my 97 civic and the front is bottomed out and really not tht low...i was wondering what i could do...i thought mayb like extended tophats or somethin...any suggestions wud b nice...thanks

 

Did you preload the springs?

arent they adjustable?

 

they came on the car...and yes they are adjustable but the fronts are all the way on the last coil and im like right at the top of the tire...the backs can go down prolly another inch to inch and a half...jus doesnt make sense to me

 

maybe shocks are bad

 

how far off the ground is your front bumper?

 

Skunk2 pro series dont have a shock body adjustment soooo unless you intend on riding at stock height the springs will not be preloaded.

Anyway, cut the bumpstops in half. You're welcome in advance.

 

thats really weird... i had pro-s' on my crx and i was tucking 15's and i still had an inch to go.

it says they're adjustable up to 4" which will put a civic in the grass

 

id say its prolly like 2-2.5 inches off the ground....and thanks ima talk to one of my buddies about cuttin those...we also talked about takin one of the collars off

 

my friend has these and his car is slammed and i dont even think hes all the way down, has 50s and completly tucks them.

which pro series do you have there is 2 kinds and i think the pro c you can adujust the body and lower the car without hurting ride quality do you have a collar at the bottom of the threads where it meets the body of the coil? cause i have these in my ek and its tucking tire now and have prolly 15 threads left

they say pro series on them...and by collar do u mean what u adjust the ride height with? theres two of those...and ill try and get a pic later
