I was doing some research and I couldn't find any visors that fit like OEM. So my I was flipping through Car and Driver and found a vendor called "WeatherTech"
I was checking out their visors and sure enough they don't use any kind of double sided tape.
So called them up and the representative said that they don't make them but they could if there was enough demand for them. "How much demand?" I asked...and she said well if there are enough people that request it I am sure it will be considered and that alot of car enthusiasts petition for specially requested products.
They have a request page

I think it's worth a shot, and it'd be nice to finally get some clean visors that don't require double sided tape and don't cost $200! So put if you got a minute, put in a request for some "side window deflectors." In my request I asked for all versions of the 88-91 Civic, CRX and Wagon.
Hopefully we can make something happen.

JesseCRX,
Think we had discussed about visors before! Anyhow I will also put my request in. Seems they make for them for 89 Civic HB but not 90-91. They make nice products, I had a set of the visors on my 03 Toyota. I have a set of there all-weather mats in my civic as well. Lets hope this gets done

Funny how they have them for the 89 HB, but the 88's are the ones with different door sashes. 89's should work for the 90-91's as well.
I find those crappy ventshade visors on ebay all day long and I owned a no name brand of visors for my hatch for a short while but they too required double sided tape and it just looked cheap..
I think as long as we keep bugging them they'll do it. So I want the community to stay on top of this. Even if it's just sending a random request or even calling every once in a while. I am not saying spam the **** out of them, but make genuine requests. With all the time spent and wasted here maybe taking a minute to fill out the request form or call may help.
We got nothing to lose.

I am a little jealous of the hatchback and sedan owners. From the looks of it they offer visors for both the Sedan and Hatch(88 and 89).
Anyone own sets of these?
Anyone own sets of these?
FYI:
88-89 HB Have the Pilar Mounted Seatbelts. 90-91 have the door mounted seatbelts so the doors are totally different. Weathertech needs to make for the 90-91 HB doors

I never knew that about the Civic HB. I thought they were just like the CRX doors.(where the 88's had thinner door sashes).
You're talking about the rear hatch visor. They don't sell it here.
Considering that this is the only exclusive EF forum on HT, the section is ideal. Besides, I wanna see how these things are mounted without tape like the ad says so. Which is why I asked if anyone with a HB has a set.

I sent a request to a H-Tech moderator to add a poll option to this thread(Yes! Request Submitted or No...Because I don't care) to keep the clutter down and keep the discussion on the visors themselves.
My fingers are crossed that the moderator accepts my humble request!
You mean like the one they have here??

Thanks to everyone taking the time to submit a request. Let's keep our fingers crossed. And when you guys make your request, take the time to really ask in detail what it is you want. Don't just say "Make some CRX VISORS NOW!" or something like that lol! Maybe tint options?
