Default Smart Polish clay bar.

Hey guys,

So I don't know if the moms- I mean mods will move this to appearance and cosmetic but I just wanted to give you guys a little review on a new clay bar product.

We just started carrying this smart wax brand at my work and it is pretty good stuff. A lot of it is eco friendly and it is pretty fair priced. I know a lot of people don't like switching stuff but I thought I would give their clay block and spray detail a try.

Here is their website:

http://www.smartwax-usa.com/

The clay block is actually a layer of clay added to a foam pad which makes it really easy to use and they claim it will last for 20 vehicles. When it gets dirty you just rinse it off and keep going. It is really easy to use and works really well! I did my whole car in less than 20 minutes. Make sure you do it in the shade though!

If anyone has any questions about any of their other products let me know and maybe I'll give them a try and let you know!

Interesting... I might check this out. The meguires clay bar is a pain in the *** to use. Have to keep folding it.

What does this do if you hit a dry spot?

Well, they say right on the box that you need to get it well lubricated at all times. And when it does hit an unlubricated spot it gets really rough. The reason why I was interested in this was because you don't have to fold it and it seems to last a while. I doubt I will get 20 uses out of it before I decide to just buy a new one but still!

Ok Josh, I know that was a little uncalled for but I couldn't resist. Ha ha.

Wow. Did you buy it cause I told you to or because you saw it and are a consumer ***** for "new" products like me?

I just bought it because the rep was preaching to me about how great it was and I figured that, as easy as it is to BS customers about how great it is without having a clue, I would feel a little more comfortable saying all of their products are great if I have at least tried one of them! Lol.

I have actually never used a real clay bar but have always heard it is a pain. Let me know how this compares! Just in case I am talking about how great this is but it really blows.
