EK9 Cusco GT spoiler with Alex carbon fiber base
I have here a Cusco GT spoiler for the EK9. the spoiler is in perfect condition. I had the center section sprayed grenada black pearl (GBP) with my car and buffed so it looks flawless. the aluminum uprights are still in full polish.
the carbon fiber base was said to be an Alex racing base, and the box said Alex, but the base itself does not say it. I will assume it is, but they are not like Spoon I suppose and do not label all their stuff. Needless to say the base is in 9.5/10 condition. their is a small run in the carbon's coating that is a manufacturer defect, about 3/4in long that is not noticeable unless youre the owner. all 4 bolt holes are pristine brass inserts, not stripped or cross threaded.
this is a bolt on and go unit for an EK, no need to mess with it. it is adjustable as well. I would suggest using 4 mounting bolts that are about 5mm shorter than OEM as they fit better. should cost you 80cents at a hardware store for all 4.
i will disassemble this completely and package it tightly to cut down on shipping time and cost, although it should take about 10 minutes to put it together and another 10 to put it on your car.
one of these spoilers just went for 385USD shipped by itself. I will sell the spoiler and base, as a package for 450 shipped. and that price is firm. 65 dollars is a good price for an Alex carbon base.
