Default FS: 1994 Miata Built/Turbo, Suspension, JDM, Hardtop, Azenis, Clean,Fast,Reliable!!!

After five miatas and daily driving this beast for the past 2+ years I have finally decided its time to try something new. I've put an additional 2k+ into the car in the past few months including a clean Hardtop, Kosei K1's, brand new Falken Azenis, replaced the dented door, and few more maintenance items in hopes of getting an S2000 as soon as possible. Heres the run down....

1994 Laguna Blue A pkg (LSD)

5spd, AC, PS, AM/FM/CD/Cass, 135K miles, everything works

Rust free Arizona car, paint shines!

Newer Robbins Glass window top (top of the line mint condition)

Mint Satin Black Hardtop with defroster

Fast, strong and reliable drivetrain. Averages 26-28mpg in daily driving. 30+ on road trips!

I am the second owner, on to the important mods (not going to talk about the little stuff)

-15x7 kosei K1's with brand new Falken Azenis

-Full 3" exhaust with no cats/muffler. Easily swappable for emissions or pleasure. Comes with a brand new cat for emissions.

-Boost, A/F, and EGT gages on pillar

-Ground Control suspension with Koni “yellow” shocks

-Racing Beat sway bars

-Flyin Miata race fan

-FM Race Radiator with new high pressure cap/thermostat

-Flyin miata extractor hood

-Turn Signal Intakes

-Hawk pads with fresh DOT4 blue fluid

-Garage Vary Front Lip / R-package rear lip

-Tow hook with Tire Tail included ...... http://www.egansworld.com/olds....html

-New factory motor @ 83K miles.

-Turbo engine built with forged internals / ported head @ 91K miles

Forged Carillo "A" Rods

Wiseco 9:1 Forged pistons

Ceramic coated piston tops, graphite coated skirts

1mm standard overbore

Head is fully ported, polished, and decked.

Flyin’ Miata FM II BBB turbo kit, with every additional cost upgrades

Link engine management computer with programming pad.

Professionally tuned in Colorado @ Flyin’ Miata by Jeremy Ferber (recent tune)

Driven for the past 2 years @ 12psi (274 rwhp)

Link is good for 18psi. Motor is good for more than the diff will ever take.

Many interior and exterior upgrades and extras, all tastefully done. Meticulous maintenance with Mobile 1 and Redline synthetic lubricants. All receipts (literally 2-3inches thick) including original factory sticker, manual, and keys! Car is not perfect but is in exceptionally good condition for its age and everything works as it should. I get complimented regularly and I would EASILY give the car an 8.5/10 overall. Fast, Fun, Reliable, Nice, NO BS!!!!!!!!! Comes with a huge box of extra brand new goods including more mods, LOTS of maintenance items, and other miscellaneous things (car cover, bulbs, seals, hoses, and much more). Car has recently had fresh tint, new fuel filter, all new fluids, new speedo cable, new plugs/wires, CAS, and other miscellaneous maintenance

Short list of whats "wrong" with the car...

Small crease/paint crack on driver door

NACA air duct's paint has chipped

steering wheel is faded/driver seat has bolster wear

Airbag light is on (Was going to install a Nardi)

Rear R-package lip is cracked

Price is now $9,800 OBO. Ive attached some recent pictures. Miata has been detailed and will be garaged until sold. Let me know if you want more pictures/information or preferably want to check the car out. Car is located in Scottsdale, AZ. email is cheesefries333@yahoo.com. (Only trade I am looking for would be a White S2000 and I have cash to put on top of the trade) Thanks for looking.

You need to log in to view that forum.

And besides the fact that the car is very clean and tastefully modified, the price is still steep by a few g's.

Cars like this just aren't worth what they may have been a couple years ago. You need to realize the market is **** and it is going to be a mission finding someone who will pay 10k for a 16 year old miata. Regardless of modifications. But thats something that you will eventually realize when this thread is 4 pages long of bumps like some cars.

If your testing waters, ask whatever you want. If you need to sell, make the price more competitive with the market and you will sell the car.

^I agree. This is H-T. Look at the 92-95 Civics in the 10K range. They will sell much faster than this car on this forum. No offense. Your car is cute. Convertible are for girls anyway! LOL JK

Thanks for the compliment. I know the market is trash but if you do a little research (I gave a good example) clean stock Miatas hold their value very well, loaded clean stock NA's still sell for 4-7k. I understand your concern regarding money returned for modifications but these turbo kits sell used for 3k (with standalone, full fuel system, ect...) not to mention the fully built motor and the hardtop. I understand this car is not for everyone but to anyone looking for a highly modified clean NA the price shouldn't be too far off. I know this isnt the best place to post it but this is not the only place its listed and you never know whos lookin. Once again anyone who is truly interested do some research and compare prices and shoot me an email, price is OBO!

How is 2.5x the low end and 40% higher than the high end of the range for a clean Miata "not too far off"?

I like your car, it's clean, but it is overpriced. I saw a Jackson Racing supercharged one at a local dealership (read: has a warranty included in the price) with full coilovers, front/rear sways, hard top, wheels, alarm/remote start, 80k miles LISTED at $5995 (read: you could get it for less).

FWIW, having owned over 10 miatas in the last 15 years(several turbocharged with build motors) I can say with 100% confidence that miata was NOT overpriced at all. If anything it was UNDERpriced. The economy sucks, but if I had seen that miata a few months ago I would have sold one of mine and bought this Laguna.

FWIW, laguna blue is one of the rarest colors of all Miatas and one of the most sought after, which raises the value over 99% of all the other '94's on the road. Also, the only other year they made Laguna's was '95, which is FAR less desirable(to most of us enthusiasts) because they moved to OBDII.

Anyhow, my .02 on this sale- for anyone else that finds another clean Laguna with a ****-ton of expensive mods, you should buy it.
