Default Help with Tie rod end

I just recently purchased a ls steering rack to go into my ek. I was wondering if it would be necessary to change the outer and innner tie rods to make sure there is no steering play. Does steering play usually come by way of a bent tie rod? Do tie rod end wear down? or just the boot?

Might as well replace them, they are cheap enough. You can get them with lifetime warranty from Advace Auto parts.
