Icon6 Integra steering noise? what part is it?

Hey 1995 integra ls. i just replaced the axles an outer tie rods because I was hearing a noise when I was driving and it was not coming from the engine. Now when I am driving I have the steering wheel straight and i hear a clicking noise. The tricky part is that when i let go of the gas pedal and let it glide the clicking goes away and the steering wheel stops jerking. (jerks a lil). any solutions before i start replacing everything?

Check out the rack pinion I had the same problem and replaced my rack pinion. Not 100% sure that'll fix your problem but check it out and if it's bad then replace it and that should fix the prob.

an alignment was not done my friend suggested that as well but it happened before parts were replaced. Someone directed me to the rack an pinion problem but i needed to see if anyone else had the problem. did it fix it?

Usually the only problems youll see with a bad rack is a hella hard time turning the wheel. At least from my experience and not like a non p/s car, much harder.
my first suggestion would be to differ the steering wheel shake from the clicking noise. they may or may not be related. Do you hear the noise when your just cruising or only when accelerating/pushing on the pedal??

bearings possibly? not too sure, i wouldn't think it'd be the rack-n-pinion if it is during acceleration. are all your lugs secure all around?

if that don't, check your wheel bearings. keep us updated man, this is a more serious issue/safety concern so best of luck

sounds like a set of brakes i used to have....i used to hear a clicking and for the longest time i couldnt figure it out... so i jacked up the car and spun the tires and looked at everything and listened to it... i saw the brake pad would hit the top and bottom of the caliper bracket when a certain part of the rotor would pass..so the brake pad would go up and down causing the clicking sound
