i bought a carbon fiber hood for a good price but the clear coat is fading and there are a few chips in it. does anyone know what id have to do to either restore or fix the hood?

 

Really gonna depend on how bad the " chips" are and what ur willing to deal with as exceptable. You can def get a carbon hood clear coated and they come out pretty good. but if the chips are untollerable and repair is needed youll prob have to paint the hood.

 

yeah ive heard of buffing it somehow very gently with resin as well
