Assuming you have the factory radio with pocket underneath (no CD player), basic steps are:
- Remove the console
- Remove the ash tray
- Where you removed the ash tray, remove 2 (maybe 3?) screws into the bracket underneath the pocket. These are vertical, you'll need a short screwdriver. Tip - put a rag over the open space where the console was in case you drop a screw.
- Slide the radio and pocket out together enough to reach behind and disconnect the antenna cable and harness

If you are lucky someone else has already installed one. In that case put your fingers in the tape slot and the pocket and wiggle the heck out of it. Sometimes this works.
Otherwise use an 8mm socket with an extension and a right angle tool. Peel back the carpet and get right up behind the radio. That's how I do it, but install for a living though. Its not easy but its fast!
