i need a quick answer on this. the silver thing inside my spark plug wire is still on my spark plug, i have the wire out but the thing inside it is still on my plug. is it safe for me to drive to class and pick up new spark plugs and wires. or should i just ask for a ride to buy the parts? last night i just put the wire back in and started the car it started ok.

 

You can shove the wire back in there and drive it. Or you can use some pliers or something to pull the metal piece out and shove it back into the wire by hand.

 

ya i shoved it in there but is it safe to drive? i have like a 10 mile drive across the mountain to pick up new plugs and wires.

 

If you shove it back on there youll be fine. Youll def know when you start it up if it's not fully connected. gl
