Default i need help.

ok so i just got my car started again after finding out my CMP was bad!!!!

anywho..

i didnt put oil in my tranny.
yeah yeah i know.

but would i get a loud knock if it doesnt have oil???

i hold its not clutch related!!=/

no you wouldnt get a loud knock. ive driven on trannys with no oil and it didnt make much noise at all.

too lazy to take off the tranny and check.

the noise goes away is i depress the clutch

yea i think it might be also. did you use a new t/o bearing and did you reattach the return springs properly?

it will get worse and knock all the time if not fixed but ive had one go 50k miles knocking the whole time

yeah i forgot to put it on. either way im ****ed.

its not going into gear for some reason.

**** man im so pissed i have to drop the tranny **** man

idk does anyone have an idea what it can be?

would the throw out bearing cause it not to go into gear?

cuz at first it went to reverse fine.
but it like slamed hard.

then i tried to go in reverse again and it would do the reverse grind.

but it wouldnt move.

**** i hope my diff didnt blow=[

If its not going into gear you clutch cable could be too loose/too tight
If its not that, you gotta drop the thing out

i tired adjusting everyway possible loose tight in the middle.

but it feels like it goes into the gears it just dont move

i mean if its the tranny im not tripping i have like 3 other ones lol!

well cuz that **** happend to one of my hommies cars like i ran fine and all of a sudden it wouldnt move. and went i took off the tranny i saw that the diff blew.

and im hoping that didnt happen to mine.

yesterday i noticed that my driver side axel isnt all the way in. so later today when i get home from school ima put it all the way in and see if that works

ok so

i went to install my axel correctly.

but the mother wouldnt go in. so i took it out

and looked into the diff and..

tun tun tun..

THE MOTHER FUhhKEN DIFF BLEW ON MY FUHHKEN SI TRANNY!!!

SON OF A FUHKEN BITCH!!!!!!

ok no biggy. i have like 2 or three trannys laying around.

but.. their fuhken hf trannies=/

im not down with the long gears.

sooo

ima probably invest on this SI tranny that some guy is selling that supposably only has 40k.. hmm so ima go check it out.

im soo mad.

but hey.

atleast i did my obd-1 coversion and my horn works now!!

You can use a DX diff and put the Si ring gear on it.
That's probably not a bad route -
Get a DX trans and gut it.
Open your Si trans and swap your ring gear over (you will need to use the Si main shaft too)
Replace ALL bearings since you ran it dry (or just use the DX ones).

Nah don't want to deal with shipping. You can pay me to drive it up to you but at that point it'd probably be easier to find a good tranny near you or do the Si/DX mix-n-match like stated above. Well the offer is on the table, it's up to you.
