Default still eating axles..

the run down,89 civic si 90 jdm b16a,s1 tranny using 90 teg int shaft and axles, all using avid mounts and linkage. ive went through 3 sets of axles in about 5k miles. the first set were used , second set were remans from advance, and the third are csp with lifetime warranty. the first 2 just started clicking/popping around 2k miles, the third set(csp) the boots tore within 500 miles(all 4 boots) and after around 1500 miles there now clicking due to no grease. wtf is causing this? and no its not lowered

Shitty axles.

My autozone ones starting slinging grease out of the bands on the boots after a while. i said **** it, they're warrantied.

I'm just gonna explode them when I use slicks anyway. :p

Buy some used OEM axles and have them rebuilt. Make sure they have that dampener rubber thing on the middle of the shaft too.

How do you drive?

88-89 teg axles. have had them in my car for years with no problem. first running my LS and now the same axles are running my LSV.

current set up:
95 B18B1
95 B16A3 head
90-91 LS intermediate shaft
88-89 Teg axles
93 YS1 transmission

all held in with HCP motor mounts and shift linkage.

did the swap back in 2006 since then i have had no problems. since the swap was done in 2006
