Default Quick Question About JDM Foglight Bulbs

I tried a few different searches and can't find what I need. If I missed it, please feel free to link it and lock it. I have a 98 ITR w/JDM front-end. My foglight bulbs are burned out. One of the bulbs actually broke and there is half of a damn bulb floating around in the headlight housing. Is the only way to access the foglight bulbs for replacement / removal of said broken piece to take the whole front-end apart? Or is there a less intrusive way of solving my problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If a fog lightbulb broke then it would be sitting inside the yellow globe that gives the fog lights their colour, but you say yours is floating about in the headlight housing which suggests that the yellow globe broke (which is pretty common and happens when the bulb isnt centred correctly and touches the glass of the yellow globe and causes it to crakc and break off - it happened to me too) The cheapest option is to take the headlight out completely, get something and smash up the remaining part of the globe into tiny pieces and shake the headlight till they fall out, then buy a yellow H3 foglight bulb and fit it without the yellow globe, or the more expensive option, buy another headlight and be more careful when fitting the foglight bulbs (which is what i ended up doing)

dont use your foglights unless its foggy... running foglights without fog/rain is ricer jdm fanboi as hell. not saying you're one of these ricer pole smokers... unless you do leave your fogs on all the time!

BTW if you get offended by this post it means youre a fanboi-queer

Thanks for the replies. I figured I'd have to get a new headlight. I live in FL. I do use them in the early mornings when it's nasty or when it's raining. I'm not new to this site / the ITR forum. Just have a new name. I guess I'll have to start saving for the new light. Thanks!

Run your fogs all you want to the more the better. Matter fact, I recommend you run them all the time because they are more like running lights than fog lights anyway. Doesn't mean you are a ricer, as this guy suggests, it just means you want the people in front of you to see you coming up on their rear to move to the right as you pass!

Oh and here's to you Dr.
