I'm planning on runnig my stock 90si but the clutch and axel is going. I don't wanna have to drive like 250miles to break in the clutch. This is my 2nd car so i never get to drive it only like 1 a month for about 10 miles that's it. But the drag day is about 2weeks away.

*OEM clutch....do i need to break it in.?how long?
*aftermarket(napa) same question^^^^ how many miles befor i can beat on it?

 

i personally would break in any clutch that i just bought. try to drive the car as much as you can before the drag day.

 

Yeah, break em in. I put OEM clutch on my LS swap and it started slipping after a month because i failed to break em in...Good thing I didnt pay for the OEM clutch, (traded a GSR distributor) but now I have to buy a new one

 

well i dunno exactly wat breaking in is...cuz when i got my centerforce df clutch..i treated it just like i do now...normally...then when i want i can chirp some gears...i dont think it had any effect on it wat so ever..

 

okay I guess i'll have to break it in. so how many miles of city driving do i have to put on the clutch?

 

I'd give it at least a tank of gas...300 miles? You could go more but I wouldnt go under.
