Default My $1500 98 hatch.

Been out of the game for awhile , but picked this up for a daily driver/d16z6 with some boost.

Paid 1500 canadian for it from my local honda dealer, and had it on the road for 200 bucks (needed nothing for safety.

What you think?

This is after a good cleaning, the paint isnt quiet as good as it looks in the pics but im happy for now. Does have some honda rot in the rear quarters but that will be fixed up soon.

Not going crazy as im to old for low rough riding cars. suspension will stay stock, and the d16z6 will go in and get boosted. want a nice to drive sleeper.

i will update as things progress

Sounds like you got a good deal on it. I love boosted SOHC's! Good luck with it.

You know that instead of "reserving" the first two replies to your thread, you can just update the original post with updates.

That is a really nice looking car regardless of how much you paid. The price you got was excellent. Did the car have a ton of miles on it or something? Usually you can't get a car that nice for that kind of price.

it is a bit rusty ob the fenderwells. needs a new speedo but that about it , I have been driving it for 2 weeks and it drives great.

Thing i want to get fixed is the drivers window shifts forward when you roll it up, drivers door panel is cracked right where your elbow rests. It really does need a fresh coat of paint and there are small dents and dings. Just little things that i want to get fixed up. needs a front bumper skin (big chunk thats about to fall off).

I did polish the headlights, I need to re do cuse there is a lot of sanding scratches i missed. but still looks better then when i got it.

But all in all i think its the best deal i have got on a car .
