ok im about to put a type r tranny on my car but i notices one of the axle oil seal's is ripped a tiny bit.. there arent a lot of acura dealers aroud so im wondering if one from a del sol vtec or civic si will fit.....

anyone know?

 

it should fit. just make sure you get the right one since each side of the trans is a different size

 

ok i got both for a si dohc... my next question is this. when i put the new engine and tranny in it started up fine be then the vss plug (speed sensor on the tranny) popped out.... the connectors were clean and no bent pins or broken tabs, it just doesnt seem to want to lock... is the vss different in the type r tranny compared to the ls tranny (i went from a b18b with ls tranny to b20 with an itr tranny)
