KN/AEM dryflow/S&B factory type filter
**Anyone try one of these 'gauze' or 'foam' drop-in filters with positive results?**
Car is a '97 Civic lx, auto, stock, slow. Gets good mpg and is cheap to operate.
I've heard from some people that these actually provide an increase in performance, being the fiancee's car (I drive a jeep lol) I'm not looking for a lot, but a little power would be nice, and more mpg never hurts either. I'm buying mostly for long term savings, as crappy paper filters get expensive after a while.

is she looking for a drop in replacement filter? or a filter that attaches to an aftermarket pipe?
KNs drop in filters are awesome, they are reusable, and breath a hell of alot better than paper filters (go to autozone or advance, they usually have those filter comparison kiosks)
aem doesnt have a dryflow drop in filter
