I've seen bad things about the ETD, and I've heard nothing but good things about the Full-Race.

I have had my Full Race traction bar for 2 years with no problems at all. And I daily drive my car everyday. It is a straight swap when you take out your old traction bar. You can use your old radiator with this traction bar. Or you can get the half size radiator. Just remember to get an alignment after the traction bar install. If you have the money the full race is a great traction bar to get. They have a lot of great info on there site as well.

You have heard nothing but bad things about the original design. The new design is much stronger and has had no issues. There was a large thread on the ETD bars where the owner of ETD posted and admitted to there original quality being poor and apologizing for it and explaining there corrections made and strengths.

ETD for me personally.

I think the new ETD is worse than the old one, mounting such and important part to just tow hook points is horrible...id buy the fullrace or innovative

the 3rd(i think) gen ETD that mounts to the cross member and uses 4 heims on the link tubes is best - if you re-weld the tube in the mount(bad welds)....its great...really simple and strong....have no idea why they changed it

You are absolutely right! Tow hooks aren't designed to DRIVE with. Adding the extra arms add a lot of extra strength. The nuts inside the unibody can (and sometimes do!!!) break off - you'll know right away when your alignments goes wacky. My friend had to tack weld his bars on because they were slipping, we were too afraid to tighten the tow hook bolts more as to not strip them.

To this day I've never understood how companies can get away with such terrible designs. Why did people keep buying ETD bars even after they probably almost killed a few people? Honda owners will be anything that's shiny; as long as it's cheap.

Tragic, but very true.
