FS/partial trade: 1999 Lexus LS400 Black/Black Great condition!
Selling my 1999 Lexus LS400. It is black with black interior. This car is in great shape and has been very well kept and serviced. Everything works!
ALL SERVICES CURRENT (rear diff, Transmission fluid, powersteering fluid, oil change, Timing belt service performed at Lexus at just over 100k... and more) - No leaks!! That means no surprise money out of your pocket after buying it! Just drive and enjoy it with no stress!
- New Battery (correct size)
- Comes with both colors of OEM touch up paint
- Has 2 original keys with faubs
- New OEM rear brakes
- New front rotors and New OEM Pads + wear sensor
ALL of the services have been done on or before the time they have been due as recommended by Lexus. It is current with ALL services large and small including the timing belt service. It also comes with a well documented history from Lexus as the previous owner also took it to the dealer regularly.
According to the history from Lexus it had a new transmission installed at just over 100k at Lexus.
I am a certified mechanic and I have meticulously made sure that everything has been maintained! I have receipts for every little thing I have bought for it.
We recently took it on a trip to Sema in Las Vegas and it average between 26-28mpg and around town I am averaging 19-20mpg.
The interior is in very good condition with NO rips, tears, or holes with the OEM floor mats. It is so reliable I would not be afraid to take it on any size road trip!
When I bought the LS it had a typical powersteering leak and I rebuilt the pump with OEM lexus seals (I made a DIY in the LS400 section about it). That was about 5,000 miles ago and just did an oil change and still no leaks!
It does have Tanabe springs installed and has an excellent ride.
The bad (not really bad though...haha) I hit a rabbit (the fuzzy animal - not a VW haha) on the way back from Sema so I am reducing the price. The only thing wrong is the lower grill on the front bumper is separated (hardly noticeable at all) and the bottom thin plastic splash shield has a bent corner. PICS BELOW!

Rabbit damage:
The plastic lower splash shield (this looks bigger in the pic but it is only a few inches and I am going to mend it with zip tie stitches for now so it doesnt hang)
