Default Purchasing a new Accord

Hey everyone

I am very close to buying a brand spanking new Accord sedan EX-L v6. I took it out for a spin on Saturday and agree with most reviews I've read that the only real complaints would be the stock brakes (man those things are small) and a bit too much road noise. I was wondering if anyone knew of some good luxurious (quiet) all season for this car that do not sacrifice road grip or poor weather performance. Also, what is the best route to go for improving brake performance? Should I buy after market pads or rotors? Do I risk voiding the warranty with either of these purchases? Also, any things I should know going into this purchase?

Thanks,

Assuming any production problems that existed (or not) when we got ours have been fixed. I would say this is a great purchase.

The car is nice commuter car with a little extra power and nice ride.

I' m afraid I have no "all-weather" tire recommendations, as we only need summer tires in Texas.

I can tell you that should you choose a brake upgrade you will not void your warranty. In the worst case the dealer could give you a hard time if you took it in for brake related issues. Do note that they will not work on brake issues if you have changed the brakes... other than that you should be fine.

I would not touch the brakes until your warranty is over. By that time, it's probably time to service them anyways (if not already).

There are already issues with front and rear brakes (see my sticky on front brakes), let Honda fix it if necessary. You don't want them to decline the repair because you changed something.
