I have a 91 DA 4dr and for some reason it wont start. First i couldn't start it when i was at subway so my cousin and i looked at it for a bit. It wasn't the battery cuz everything was off like no power at all. We tried to jump it but for some reason the jumper cables started to melt, and it stalled me cousins car. We messed with some cords cuz the bat is relocated to the back and it started to work. Then i was goin to go cruise later that night and it just stalled out while i was driving. I managed to pull in a parking lot and now all it does is try to start but it wont get that extra push to actually start. I have no idea what it could be. Any advice???

 

check grounds. my buddy had a EM1 painted V/C with a ground to it wouldnt start cleaned it to bare metal started right up.

 

sounds like a ground issue to me as well.

 

yea i got it fixed and the guy said the ignition coil wasnt good so he replaced it and it works great now.
