Default b18b1 swap wiring question

is there any one on that has done this before that wouldnt mind answering some questions....

i have
b18b1
obd 2 dist.
chipped p28
this conversion harness
and im using my obd0 harness and just wiring in what is needed

i have the conversion harness in and wired, car will only start with starter fluid

injectors all have a constant ground on the yellow/black wire

im not getting anything from the signal wire i double checked and all the signal wires are wired correctly as it say in the install

just wondering what the engine grabs signal from so it knows when to fire the injector cause im guessing its not wired up

all that i have wired up are the injectors, the map is plugged in, the tps i swapped the outside wires, the knock sensor the O2 sensor, distibutor, i think thats it

i know i need to plug in more i just have to figure out how they get wired

did you convert to mpfi first, and then to obd1? or are you doing it all at once? what are you using as reference for the dpfi to mpfi conversion. here's a good writeup to use if you need it

http://hondaswap.com/swap-articles/d...writeup-49557/

the injectors should always see power from the resistor box, about 5v. the ecu pulses ground, which in turn causes the injectors to fire.

that would be correct. did you solder all the wires together that would have gone to the res. box?

i never had a resistor box i just soldered the two yellow/black wires from the harness to the four yellow black wires coming from the injectors...unless the factory DPFI system uses a resistor box i need to modify

so you're saying the side of the injector that should have power is reading ground? did you try using another power wire for the 4 injectors wires. in the dpfi-mpfi writeup it shows running a wire from pin a15 to get power. you could try that i reckon. or use the power wires from the stock dpfi injectors. they are yel/blk i believe.
