slight problems w/ h22. PLZ HELP
okay im going to be hitting the dyno when i get my head back from my PP and i need to have these little problems taken car of.
1. i have what appears to be oil?!? appearing on my exhasut maniflod gasket. yes i have changed the PCV valve and yes my spark plugs are tight and seals are a fine? i dont know how the small amount of oil (if thats what it is) is getting into the combustion chamber and then appearing on my exhaust manifold gasket. would slightly bent valves cause this problem?
2. i need to know if their is any NEGATIVE side effects i would have to worry about when i put on my .27 COMETICS head gasket. i was wondering if that may be to thin and may cause problems with valve clearence. should i go with a .32 headgasket?!?
3. lastly when my car is low on fuel it takes a few seconds to turn over. is this a typical thing or should i worry? and how do u replace the fuel sending unit? my gas gauge stopped working
o and what in the hell are break shims? my car makes a poping noise at the front right tire and i know its not the CV joint and i know i didnt break an axle. my mech. said i prob popped the break shim off. so what the hell is the shim so i can fix this irritating popping sound.

1. you might have bad rings causing oil to get into the combustion chamber. Bent valves would not cause this problem. Do a compression check. Do ALL 4 ports have oil? or just one?
