Default Bogging and slow acceleration

I have a 94 Integra LS and I thought the dizzy was throwing CEL 9 so I replaced it and it turned out to be the ecu. So I left the replacement dizzy on there because it was fine and I changed the pr4 ecu with a p75 ecu. I when changing the dizzy the wires were messed and was causing the motor to misfire, so my friend gave me some used ones he had. And then yesterday, I went to install a full 2.5" catback and the same cat and now it accelerates really slow.

I dont know what it could be but I think it could be either I need a tune-up, or I need a Tune becuase the catback or I just have too much resrtriction from the stock cat?? What do you guys think it could be?

maybe you are losing back pressure. I removed my cat and my LS doesnt do well without cat/full exhaust system. From my experience the bog could come from a bad fuel filter/pump or ign wires.

Yea I had to drive to the muffler shop to get it welded and I had open headers and it lost so much power! It kind of feels similar to that. But I have the cat and full 2.5" catback. On my other civic with a single non V, I put in a catback and kept the stock cat and it ran fine. So thats why I dont know whats wrong.

make sure when you put the dizzy back the timing is correct and not retarded. you are also running two separate maps now that you changed computers unless there both chipped running the same tune? one might run less or more timing or fuel, might even be pinned slightly different.

It can be that the car is not in timing?

I went and had a shop put the motor in timing with a timing light and it wasnt really out of timing they said. But they fine timed it. So now Im thinking it could be 1) I need a tune-up or 2) I need a higher flowing cat?

it wasnt doing this before the ecu and the catback or the spark plug wire change so ill try changing the wires. and see what happens

nope i changed the plugs and wires and no big improvement. Im thinking its mostly the cat causing a huge restriction. Do you reccoment just welding a straight pipe or resonator in place of the cat? I just dont want it to be SO LOUD!

My LS is completely stock. I only have a straight pipe, because my cat makes my piping bend and scrape the ground. My car is loud ONLY at full throttle, and it sounds like a fart can @ high RMPs. I say remove the catback and just roll with straight pipe, with your stock exhaust setup of course.

change the fuel filter for one. and 2 i dont think changing your exhaust is gonna make it that much slower. you lose backpressure but exhaust systems are made to make power...not lose it. sounds like you have another problem.

or buy a 20 dollar fuel filter and make sure that doesnt fix it. but if you wanna drop $200 on a high flow cat then go for it...dont see why you need a high flow cat on a n/a car anyway. idk anyone around here with a high flow cat on their n/a car with an exhaust.

have u check the ecu maybe its a bad ecu cuz when they get move around and not tooken care of the circuit something mess up so u having bad input with would cause your car to act up and with the bigger exhaust its doesnt have maybe enought back pressure so make it even worst
