sparco vs momo
i'm trying to decide between a sparco sprint 5 seat and a momo t frame.
both are fia approved. looking to see what experiences people have with these seats, this is going in a car that i will be driving on the street. all help is greatly appreciated.
thanks
P.S.
I've ALREADY sat in both....so please no more saying i need to go sit in them because i have, i'm just looking for MORE information on how i can expect them to wear, and also how they feel after sitting in them for a longer period of time.

The biggest help you can be to yourself in choosing your seat or other safety equipment if for you to go and sit in each seat and decide witch one is best for you.
Each has its FIA ratings but only you can make the ultimate choice.
Travel to where ever you have to go. I cant stress this enough.
If you made the decision between these two go and sit in them.
Dont buy something like this based on popular opinion. Base it off your comfort, and what you like about each seat, then decide.
There are alot of seats out there, and the one thats best for you might not be either of these two seats.
Visit the tracks during events, and see what people are using and ask to sit in them.
That is if you dont have a shop around you that has a selection available for you to try.
A shop not being close to you is no excuse for not trying one out.
Many of us dont have shops near by and easilly would travel a half day or more to go sit in one.
Your seat is an investment in your comfort and safety.
Stinky point this guy to a shop please!

Using the search function properly would've turned up this thread as the fourth result, after searching for "seat" in RRAX:

Paul's suggestion of sitting in one is spot-on, which is also covered in that other thread. Thanks civichb for the FAQ link as well. Search next time.

i've sat in both. when you first sit in a seat you have no telling how it's going to wear, if you can feel the frame after a couple hours etc... i wanted to know peoples real world experiences with these particular seats. i'm not going to let anyone decide for me.... i should have phrased my post differently. and dirty19, i have to drive far to get parts on a weekly basis. i'm not stupid and planning on investing in a seat that i've never sat in....

Good... Im glad you take the time to go do whats right for you.
Going and getting and seeing and touching and...
Its the right thing to do when you invest your money in parts.
So many newbs think we have tested and used them all.
With so many combinations out there, and newer ones on the market everyday is not as simple as asking us sometimes.
I like, and used sparco, and momo seats for many years but have now found a new favorite.
Cobra.
Only way to know is to go touch it.
