Coils on plugs setup with aem ems 30-1050u

Coils on plugs setup with aem ems 30-1050u
Did somebody try to use 3 wires coils with aem ems? I know lot of people use 2 wires coils with ignition box like the aem cdi or msd dis-4 but if we use the 3 wires coils we don't need this cdi box because each coils had they igniter.
