So here's my Idea...
The del sol's trunk is big and flat, kinda like a tiny truck bed + There's a guy who's selling a 99 CR80 big wheel for 500 bucks + My truck gets 8 MPG.

I was thinking about building a small platform that I could put on the trunk out of 2x4s and plywood with some sturdy material on the bottom to keep it from rubbing my paint on the trunk. Running the tiedowns through the slits in the side of the trunk and tie them down inside the trunk somewhere. Possibly tying the front of the platform down by running another tie down through the rear window and attaching it to a seat rail or something. The bike can't weigh more than 150 lbs.

So good Idea or Horrible Idea.

oh... the overall length of the bike is like 71.3" and the del sol's trunk lenght is about 42". I was thinking about doing it at an angle...

Just realized I could tie the bike down using the rear strut bar then run the tiedowns up through the trunk then close it. Then put the platform and bike up, then attach the tie downs to the bike and ratchet them.

 

Very bad idea, just get a little toyota truck or something
