Default Bodykit and paint beneath

A car i am looking to purchase has had a bodykit on it for atleast a year sitting in the elements. Is it possible the paint beneath the kit will be a different shade? If i buy the car i dont want any surprises and if so is it possible to blend it in?

Depends how long the body kit has been on. Depends on the color of the car. Light colors tend to be less noticeable when they fade. Also, it depends on how the body kit was installed. Might have ruined the paint where it was put on, might have scratches or paint chips underneath the kit
